As we move forward in 2017 and 2018 the HOA board has been trying to recruit homeowners in an effort to get more of the neighborhood involved with the day to day operation of the association. We have a few committees still open that need both a Chairperson and committee members. We need volunteers for the following: Pool/Landscaping Committee Neighborhood Watch If you would like to volunteer your time, please see the committee pages and submit your info. The committee then will reach out to you. Your involvement and expertise is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Community HOA Meeting Monday August 21, 2017 @ 7:00 pm
Location: Cedar Management Group 9500 Statesville Road Charlotte, NC 28269 During opening procedures at the pool a large leak was discovered in the men's restroom. This leak seems to be coming from the roof and has saturated the exterior wall of the restroom. Contractors have been coming out to bid the repairs and final bids should be back soon. The goals are to have the repairs needed for optimum pool performance to be complete as soon as possible while leaving the repairs not immediately needed for after the pool season. This may not be possible but you will find more updates here.
The damage and repairs will not affect the opening of the pool (this Saturday) and should not affect the operation of the pool this season. If this changes, an update will be posted here. We juat activated a new feature on our updates page. You can now comment on the updates with your thoughts.
The community yard sale is planned for May 21st. This year on top of our normal advertising we will be posting a map of all sales for everyone (in and out of our neighborhood) to see. To be put on the map go to the events page and fill out the Put me on the map form.
The new Community Information banners serve Hampton Place two ways.
1) They were part of the announcement plan of the new website to everyone. This way it was a visual reminder of how to plug into Hampton Place. 2) They will be used to direct you to the website in case of something important. Although we hope you will check in from time to time, there is a need to tell you something important is going on and need you to log on. These will go up to direct that engagement. Other banners are being made for major events and announcements (pool party, garage sale, etc). On May 14th we are asking for your hands to help complete several projects at and around the pool before the season opens. Come in your painting shirt and jeans for painting and other maintenance. All skill levels are needed. Sign up HERE.
April's Survey for Hampton Place is now active. Please visit our survey page and take 5 mins to share your answers to this month's questions.
